Twenty years. Two children. One scorching Lincoln summer's day. Simone and Mark's wedding at the Assembly Rooms in the Bailgate was relaxed, joyful, and bursting with the most beautiful personal touches, but the moment that got me? Watching Freddie and Holly see their parents get married. I wasn't ready for that one.

Some weddings you photograph. And some weddings you feel. Alex and Dilys built their dream day entirely from scratch in a wood, in Leicestershire, with lanterns hanging from trees, fairy dust on the tables, and their nine-month-old son Magnus on his dad's shoulders for the vows. It was magical in every sense of the word.

Anna & Kingman’s wedding has a special place in my heart, it was wonderfully creative and so full of love at the Red Barn in Norfolk which they filled with gorgeous paper cranes and stunning botanicals.

The olive trees from where Jason proposed featured in their beautiful invites - hand painted by their talented bunch of artist friends. Intricate hoops handmade by the family hung from the converted barn where they sat down to a true Italian feast.

The lovely couple chose The Town Hall Hotel for their wedding ceremony  – a stylish venue with a winning combination of architecture and quirkiness and one of my all-time favourite places to photograph.
