You may have seen my first shoot with Momoka from last year, so when she asked me back for a second shoot this year I jumped at the chance to immerse myself in her wonderful creative world.
This time the focus was on her unique creative process to help deepen her story and show the work involved in her beautiful textile pieces. These kinds of images really help to develop a connection with clients and galleries to grow their understanding of the time and skill involved in creating these pieces of art.
We captured images of bleaching, foiling, hand cutting the denim and weaving along with imagery to show her tools and some portraits too. One of which is quite possibly my favourite portrait yet.
I find Momoka’s work fascinating and learning even more about her process was an absolute joy.
